About San Francisco Business Connections
BNI San Francisco Business Connections is a networking group of professionals dedicated to building business through word of mouth and referral marketing.
Around the end of 2007, a small group of business professionals were looking at BNI as a way to grow their businesses through the power of referrals and word-of-mouth marketing. Many chapters already had their categories filled, and as it’s a basic tenet of BNI that each profession is only represented by one person, it was clear that they needed to start their own chapter. These people were also rather unique in their style and demeanor, and decided that their chapter was going to celebrate this uniqueness, rather than crushing it into a gray pinstripe box. The Vision was to ambitiously build each others’ businesses, and not lose sight of enjoying the time together as well.
Within weeks, the original seven people became fourteen, and by mid-April 2008, we launched the San Francisco Business Connections Chapter
We started meeting in a conference room at our Founder, Rebecca White’s office, and discussed how we could “get it done while having fun.” Within weeks, the original seven people became fourteen, and by mid-April 2008, we launched the San Francisco Business Connections Chapter at the Orchard Hotel on Bush Street at Powell.
Now we’re a few years older and wiser, we’ve gone through the ups and downs of a maturing chapter, and San Francisco Business Connections is moving optimistically into 2011. We meet every Wednesday from noon to 1:30 pm. Join us for lunch, networking, and a unique BNI experience.
