But I’ve loved organizing ever since I started helping out around my Dad’s hardware store when I was ten. Even then, I loved the calm, peaceful feeling that comes from your life being supported by your environment.

I still love helping people get their lives organized. There is something so rewarding in seeing the smiling face of a client when they feel calm, comfortable and relaxed in their home or office. Like they could do anything! I guess that’s why I’ve been doing this work for the last five years and enjoying every minute of it.

A second career later in life led Sloan to a degree in Architecture with an emphasis in Interiors. Upon graduating he took a position at the famous and award-winning office of Orlando Diaz-Azcuy Design Associates. Working closely with Orlando and two other principals for almost 10 years, Sloan has been specializing in high-end residential and commercial work with emphasis on custom furniture, carpets and fabric designs.

The fine details are key to the integration of architecture within the interior. He has a sharp eye for color and the innate ability to mix texture and various materials within a single piece of furniture or within a room itself. ODADA was a finishing school that a designer could only hope for and Sloan took every opportunity to observe, absorb and learn from the Master. He is now looking to make his own mark on the interiors world expressing his unique and varied sense of style and taste. Sloan is in the process of developing a line of dining furniture for a prominent U.S. furniture showroom with an introduction in early 2012.

ODADA was a finishing school that a designer could only hope for and Sloan took every opportunity to observe, absorb and learn from the Master.

While at ODADA, Sloan was a Senior Designer and Interiors Studio Manager working on various projects including the Grand Penthouse at the Millennium Tower in San Francisco. Projects completed while at ODADA include the pictured residence in Pacific Heights, a 25,000 sq.’ Penthouse at the St. Regis, private office space for Shorenstein Reality Services, FLUID Bar and Lounge, a Showcase House in Miami Florida, various private offices, private homes in Carmel, Atherton, Palo Alto, Menlo Park and various neighborhoods throughout San Francisco.
